I have a heat pad mounted on the side of my tank when i checked the temp on the side of glass it read 110 degrees f. Can the snake burn itself if coiled against the glass there?

Zoo Med's UTHs actually work. I have been running several of these non-stop for over seven years. They are still going strong. The Exo-Terra pads barely put off enough heat to keep a polar bear happy, and they don't stick well. At 110, the snake won't burn itself, especially since you have the UTH mounted to the side. If that was on the bottom of the tank, you would have some substrate between the two, but even if not, that is not terribly hot. If your snake is too hot, he/she will thermoregulate. I.e., he will move to the other end of the tank. The UTHs are rated for a certain size cage. One reason is because bigger tanks usually have thicker glass, so more wattage is needed. Also because bigger tanks have more volume/area and more heat is needed to provide the proper ambient temperature. As long as your snake has a range of temps to choose from, he will be fine.

I have the lagrest pad 1 foot long or so. The tank is 2 feet x 2 feet x 4 feet. So thanks for your answer I have heard that the heat rocks can burn snakes if they only have a choice between very cold or very hot.

The UTH is a much better choice than a heat rock. Heat rocks have a bed reputation because most people used them incorrectly. Heat rocks should never be used as a sole heat source. Heat rocks should only be used as an additional option for your reptiles. After they eat, they may like to hang out on the rock and digest. If the rock is your only heat source, the reptile has two choices. Be too hot, or be too cold. Heat rocks can be effective, if used properly. That being said, UTHs are the way to go.
