I sold a rack today to a cool guy here in south Florida and talking here and there about snakes he told me that he was a black head and woma breeder and i told him i loved the true redtails .. He asked me if i was into bci morphs and i said not really but i love lookin at em . Then he told me about a bci that was born in someones house from a pet and that she wanted em out .. In that group was a bci with a completely white head. It was the only one like that in the whole group. So he brought it over and i must say i havent seen anything like it . could it be a pie bald or a calico of some kind etc etc i dont know. But i really wanted to see what you guys had to say about it

if you look closely at a couple of those pics, it looks uniform to the scales. That's kinda neat. I'm guessing that it's not genetic, but it is a very unique snake. Who knows, that could lead someone down the path to the "white boa". Thanks for posting the pics.

P.S. If it is whiteout, not cool for trickin' us gullible fools.

impressed with the animal myself when i saw it up close . the white at the end of the head is really really "WHITE" like that of a piebald ball python.

THAT'S insane lookin'!!! Think I'd call it a pied. I'd breed it to prove it out, for sure.

I have seen this happen to a boa with a stuck shed on its head. I had a boa once that had a bad shed and for some reason it was really stuck on there. So I figured instead of soaking her I would wait for the next shed and raise the humidity. Well the next shed came around and this time everything came off in one peice, the place where the shed was stuck previously turned the scales white giving it the same effect, even on the black scales of the face it turned off white. My guess is the same thing happened and the previous owner left a stuck shed on the head and it turned the scales off color. Not to bust your bubble or anything lol you never know! Maybe it could be something.

I've had this snake since it's birth.
It has shed at least 5-7 times for me....................
Not coming off anytime soon!! LOL.
Personally, I don't think it's genetic. But, it is cool to look at. We'll see in a few years.............................
