Is there a good way to tell when the digestion proccess is or nearly is compleat? I know it sounds like a stupid question, gee when they crap they must have digested but let say I fed them yesterday. I like to weigh them on an empty stomach. is there like a time frame like if I wait 3-4-5 days after eating I can pretty much bet there is nothing in the belly? Thanks a million.

Well.... you could wait around 3 weeks to feed them but they will most likely have lost weight by then. Your best bet is just to weigh just before you feed them.

Thats what I normaly try to do but feeding day in my house if a lot of fun LOL Oh admit it you love watching your snakes eat. More often than not when they have the prey half down a smack myself and say darnt it I forgot to weigh it.

I do enjoy watching mine eat. Especially my BP. He had his first rat on Friday and it took him about 20 minutes to actually strike at it. I had to mouse scent it and even then it took a while. Maybe now that he's had a taste he will take it immediatly like always. Non herpers just don't seem to understand how you can be fascinated by how they eat without being sadistic. Most people assume you are like a kid with an anthill and a magnifying glass.

LOL I guess I am like a kid with the ant hill. I have had problems with rodents in the past and I hate them. Nothing pleases me more than watching one go down LOL I realy am nice though
