Not sure what size tubs to use

Does a shoebox size tub (like the 30 slot one from boaphile) provide enough space for a single adult leo? or should i go with sweaterboxes instead?

No, those are too small. I would go with the blanketboxes or the sweaterboxes.

I guess a shoebox would be ok for a leo til 30g or so, then move them to blanketboxes?

I'm going to go out on a limb and tell you that a 12 quart sterilite container will suffice for the life of the gecko.
