Bulls Off Feed

rugha Mar 12, 2006 07:42 AM

My 04 bulls have gone off feed for some reason. Husbandry/Temps have remained constant since getting them as hatchlings. The male went off in the middle of December, the female went off in mid Feb. What could be the problem? They used to eat like mad.

Thanks!

WJ Long

My western fox snake would that as well -- despite the consistency in your temps, your bulls could be responding to other cues, like outside light changes (if they're exposed to any), a drop in humidity, or a change in the cool end temps in their cages. BTW, my w. fox was a captive bred, not a wild caught. Come to think of it, some of my rosys would do the same off-feed routine.
