Cricket size question

nymph Mar 12, 2006 03:17 PM

I was just wondering how you know when to graduate up to the next cricket size. I have mine on pinheads now because I can not find any 1/8 or 1/4 so I don't want to do 1/2. I think it is safer to keep him on the pinheads for a little longer till I feel safe with the 1/2. Is that ok as long as he gets enough pinheads?? I am going to order the 6 month prog but we are moving soon and I don't want to have confusion about where to deliver. Here is a more current pic of Nigel... I think

You showed a picture of a gecko under your post....so are you talking about him? Geckos can handle a bit bigger cricket than you would think.

If you can't find the next size up from pinheads, but pinheads are available, why not just feed the pinheads well/appropriately and they will very quickly grow into the next size?

It shouldn't hurt to feed extra pinheads to it for a few days at any rate.

No that was the wrong pic. I meant my chameleon. Let me try the pic again.
