Myself, Dean, Paul, Jason, Mike and his Dad, and Mike Graziano were there. Paul gave the presentation on our survey last year. The turnout was, in my opinion, very good. The presentations were geared more to the scientific level. I enjoyed myself, and found the experience to be informative.

It was a very enthusiastic group of people in general.
I'm looking to book (hopefully) at least 2 of the speakers for future GCHS programs. One would be about conservation efforts of fox snakes and lake erie water snakes in N Ohio, and the other about public education concerning herps. Touchstone energy did a talk that was really nice regarding their outreach programs.

Sounds like a good seminar. I hope to be able to attend the next one.

Any discussions regarding Ohio herp regulations and/or were there any Div of Wildlife representatives in attendence?

The program run by the division of wildlife and the Ohio Biological Survey, so...yes they were there!

This conference was 100% about conservation and field studies...nothing was mentioned about pending legislation.

...this was just about purely scientfic in nature. It dealt mainly with studies, surveys, and conservation efforts that are underway. The plan is to hold a reptile research and surey conference every four years, as with the amphibian conference. This will allow for you to attend one or the other every two years.
