OK, first of all I have on question. Is there a layer of water on the bottom of the aquarium? I say this because when I got my first ball I thought humidity was a really big deal and over sprayed and the water just soaked through to the bottom. If that is the case you are probably seeing small water bugs and you should change the bark and not let it get so wet next time.

I had an Iguanna with white mites, but they woulden't have anything to do with my BPs. It was really mt brothers iguanna but I took it and sent it to Repti Rehab and found him a new home. Before I knew he had mites and (this was a few years back) I put his log in with my BP w/o cleaning it, left it in over night, I noticed the mites in the morning and rushed to my BPs cage and looked and they were all over the log, but NONE on the BP! I checked her over and took the log out, cleaned the tank and they NEVER did touch her! I know better now, but then I didn't know what mites were really, but that iggy cage was NASTY, I can't believe i put the log in w/o bleaching it!!!! I was so nieve!
