Gentics and Breeding

Jos Mar 13, 2006 02:17 AM

I was wondering if there were any comprehensive sites on breeding. I can find 1001 snake sites... but nothing for beardies.
Are beardies like snakes in respect to having dom, co-dom, and simple recessive genes....If a breed a hypo to an orange will I have a percentage of the clutch being hypo's or just lighter oranges. I keep reading conflicting and confusing info. Any clarification would be appreciated!!!
Thanks

My understanding of it is that you can take the "snake basics" and apply it to other reptiles. Here is a link on Hypos that may tie some things together for you. If you find a comprehensive site I would appreciate knowing about the site as well.
