Hi there!
I am not new to caimans at all, but I am new to baby caimans!Yesterday I got my new little friend (about 10", and I'd like know how many days he(her?) will need to acclimatate before tryng fed him. tnx in advance

Personally, I would give him about a week and then start trying to feed him. If he refuses then, I would give him about another few days to a week. Be sure to just place him in the enclosure and leave him alone. The more he is handled or shown off the more stressed he can become and it might take him longer before he is acclimated to eating for you.

My palpebrosus took about 2 weeks before they started feeding. on fish and a few months later for F/T pinks.
