Kudo to Todd...

DeanAlessandrini Mar 13, 2006 09:23 AM

I found out on Saturday...

Recently, Todd was able to convince officials in Clermont county NOT to build on a lot that supports a large population of Kirtland's snakes (an Ohio threatened species)

Great job Todd!

PS: When you get a chance, please write something up about this, I want to make sure people know this happened. This is exactly the kind of thing that GCHS members can do to support conservation of local species. Oh, and if you don't have a GPS unit, I can come out sometime and mark the coordinates.

Thanks for the kind words. I don't know if it was convincing the Brown Countians as to the Kirkland's value, as much as it was just being a persistent pain in their @$$.

Dean, I will get you something in writing as soon as I can.

Thanks,

Todd

I knew it was BROWN, not Clemont.

I always get confused b/c you live in one and work in the other...
