tail sexing is not 100%, and you'd really need to see it from underneath. Usuallu much harder in a picture, as you hold it, you take in it's size, and shape and feel of the tail. Post shots from underneath. Still would just be a good guess unless unusually long or short.

In addition to HerpZillA's comments, I'd also measure both snake in total length as well as their tail length (from the vent to the tail tip). Males generally have longer tails than females of the same length.

Ok if i were going to make my educated guess I would have to say the snow is female and the anery is male. If you look you can see the drastic change in tail size of the snow, even from a top view and the anery has a much more gradual change

I placed the two together 1 day per week for the last month and the maLE IS ALWAYS PINNING THE OTHER AND TRYING TO LINE UP THE TAILS BUT THE SNOW IS VERY HESITANT. i WAS JUST UNSURE IF THE ANERY WOULD STILL DO THIS IF THE SNOW WAS A MALE? Sorry 4 the caps.

My normal disclaimer....I am not an expert, but from my experience....
if it was two males, the dance would be a little different. They would try to push each other down and they twitch at each other. The female will also sometimes twitch, so it is hard to describe. Generally (and I emphasize generally)males will not try to wrap tails around each other after they realize they are both males, but will at first sometimes. The two males "dance" is more of a dominant, "I am stronger than you" thing. Hope this helps
