Interesting head pattern

This little guy has the best head pattern. One of my 2005 babies. He is an F2 from wildcaught blood.

I like snakes with unique head patterns and that little guy has a very unique one. I always wonder if that pattern can be passed on.

I gonna try and find out this year with this guy

Hey Twosnakes,

Welcome to the forum. Sorry it took so long to answer. Yes I am breeding my snakes this year, (hopefully). I'm hoping to breed 5 female thayeri. Sorry I don't have any snakes for sale right now.

Sorry I don't have any snakes for sale right now.

I'm relieved. If you had posted that the male that I liked last year was still available, I would have been sorely tempted to act. I think he was 508M but maybe he was 509M. Either way, I'm glad that he's found a good home and you've made a good sale. I should probably wait a little longer before adding my third snake. I've also developed a bit of a zonata fixation. My next snake may be a zonata instead of a thayeri. Either way, I'll eagerly await seeing the thayeri that you produce. My California Kingsnake is alive and apparently well, so I feel more confidence about this hobby.

Would a 24"W x 16"D x 18"H cage be good for a thayeri for its entire life? I think I could fit one of these in another space in my home, so I'm wondering what snake would be good for it.

Thanks,

Bill

It's not how many snakes you have. It's how happy and healthy you can keep them.

Bill,

I'll have more in the fall, and I should have a much better selection.

Yes the size enclosure you described will make a nice home for most any thayeri you have or might buy.
