Sterilite 1960 tubs

d_oagles Mar 13, 2006 06:01 PM

I started keeping ball pythons a couple years ago and recently purchased a pastel and plan to breed next season. Every thing I’ve read in regards to enclosures for adult are something around 3’ in length by say 16” wide or so. I’ve been searching for racks for awhile to find what will best suit my needs. A lot of racks seem to use the sterilite 1960 containers which their bottom has the same measurements as a 20gallon. How many keep adult 1700 gram ball pythons in these containers and do you have any problems?

Thanks,

Dave

Thats a 1800 gram pastel male with a 5 foot monster ball python female under him. She is the biggest ball ive ever seen.

Those tubs work great. Easy to clean, the snakes seem to feel secure in them it seems. Not to big, not to small. They are eating and breeding anyway.

What are the dimensions? Where can you get these tubs? They look nice and long.
