FINALLY BABIES!!! Dial up no no.........

JohnLokken Mar 13, 2006 10:18 PM

Man, my impatience was really getting the best of me.....LOL! I have one more litter to go after this one. She should be dropping hers by the end of this month. My fingers are really crossed for my next litter!!
These babies are from the Lucy Pastel momma who had my last litter.
She was bred with a Ghost. There were two Ghosts in with her. So, it was either Mr. Hershey (Bill Kirby) or Casper (Linda Hedgpeth).
16 or 17 babies in all. 7 hypos het anery. 9-10 normals/pastels het for anery. 15 slugs!! That killed me! But, I am not going to look a gift horse in the mouth by anymeans.
I have been waiting a long time to get some hypo from these animals.
Enjoy!!

Other than being lucky enough to have babies....I love being able to share the photos with friends. I am glad you enjoyed them. I know I have been biting my nails seeing the litters others are having this year. Congrats to all.
The mom is between 6-7 feet long. Here are a couple of pics of her through the process.

Those are insane. If you thought you had a hard time parting with the last litter, wait till you have to let some of those hypos go.

Congrats man. You deserve it.

What a difference in litters. My 04 pastel litter were all mellow. This litter is full of "vigor". LOL! Fiesty as all get out. I had to seperate them all tonight. They were getting too rough. I change their bedding twice a day. Every time I did it I was getting nailed by a select few. LOL! Nothing tougher than something the size of a pencil acting mean. LOL! I don't bother them until they start eating. Once they do.........It's on. I love taming animals.
Between them trying to get out of their tub and me getting bit....My wife was rolling! LOL!
Thank you all again. I'll post more pics soon.
Best of luck to all others with litters on the way. Cross your fingers for my next litter.
