Pastel Ghost Litter!!!

creptilia Jul 28, 2003 11:16 AM

Hey Everyone,
We just ended our season with a bang! Our "Ronne" Pastel 66% for Anery female was bred by our ghost, and needless to say, she proved out to be het anery. I know the Pastel trait is selectively bred (a refined characteristic bred over generations), but I have seen the Pastel trait clean up many breeding programs. As far as I know, this genetic combination has not taken place as of yet. I love genetic play- just waiting to prove her out has been terribly exciting! We should end up with Pastel co-dominant ghosts, Pastel DH Ghosts, Pastel Anerys (“Ivories”), and Pastel het for Anerys. We do not have the final count as of yet, but I will post again with the final stats and cleaner photos. I did not see very many ghosts, but more snakes are hiding under the newspaper. It seems it has been a great year for the morphers, be it t+’s (Colombian and CA), Salmon Jungles, Motleys het for ?, sunglows, triple hets, sharps strain albinos, and the list goes on…

make sure to post some pics after they've cleaned up and
shed, I bet there's some special babies in that litter!
(I am a huge fan of light-anerys even tho I don't have one
myself yet.. yet... yet..)

I am on pins and needles, my girl is on her 104th day from POS.
