Persistant fungus problem with baby Fla. snapper

RosyBoaStore Jul 28, 2003 11:46 AM

Our baby Florida Snapper has a persistant white scum that forms on his soft body parts, especially tail his tail and legs.
I've been trying acriflavin, sheildex and some other tropical fish remedies with minimal success. I also tried one of those Sulfa blocks which worked somewhat, but cost $5 and didn't last long.
If anyone has any recommendations, I would appeciate the input.
We are due for a general vet visit in September, and if he provides our solution, I'll post it.

First, if your turtle is sick in July, why are you waiting until September for a vet to see it?

That being said, I have found JUNGLE brand Fungus Eliminator to be the best for fungus on turtles. Just follow the directions exactly.
