There is a young "super salmon" in the classifieds section right now being sold by BIG DADDYS REPTILES. I contacted him about it and he told me it was sold to him as a super from Bill Cagle. Well I went to Bill's site and there is still a pic of this animal and it clearly says "poss. super salmon". It also says SOLD and it is 100% the same animal. I think it is extremely wrong for Big Daddy's Reptiles to misrepresent this animal and say that it was sold to him as a super when it clearly wasn't. I'm not really one to post things like this but I thought it should be pointed out to people who don't know better.

I AM NOT 100% SURE!!!!
But both of those animals look very similar to me anyway.
This happens over and over, I have learn it is best to buy from the original breeder, even if you have to wait a bit longer. Again I am not sure if it is in fact the same animal but they are some very close resemblances between the two.

I know its the same because it has a small abberant stripe on its back right before the tail starts. Still, you can't sell a salmon as a super unless it is proven out or maybe both parents are proven supers. But I am 100% sure it is the exact same animal.

If you go to bill's site and look under the Misc animals for sale you will see it is the exact animal. It has 12 tail sattles before the little stripe and the second to last tail sattle is very small.

But then again like I wrote prev. I rather wait and get an animal directly from the person that produced them. I find to get better results and more accurate backround on the animal. See my other posting, about the person not giving me any info on a suriname female. I finally found out the animal was not his, it was traded to him and never paid for it, and said it was DOA, go figure that one.

Unfotunately I think a lot of the "super salmons" being sold are misrepresented. I do not think many of these people realize you have to have two supers to guarantee super babies. Craig

I don't post much if at all in the forums but I have had this happen before. I sold an F1 Gee line hypo to someone and maybe a month later this person turned around and tried to sell it as I believe an F4. He was trying to cash in on a great looking F1. I emailed this person privately and asked that he correct the ad or be reported to Kingsnake. Not sure if they ever sold the Hypo but I did my piece in trying to keep these loosers from ripping someone off. I'm sure they will see this post and I hope they do just as a reminder.

PS: There are alot of bad sellers out there but there are an equal amount of horrible buyers.

Its a beautiful salmon by itself and hes selling it for a fair price. I'm sure it would sell even if he sold it for what it really is, a poss. super. All someone would have to do is a little research and realize that Big Daddys Reptiles misrepresents his reptiles which to me makes him a fraud.

I bought one of Bill's hypos poss. super hypos from this year. I got it in jan. and its a male and its under the sold ones its about i think 3 or 4 down ont he list. He sold it as a possible super, either way it is a beautiful snake.
