RETF feeding

How do you feed your frogs the crickets? They are known to drown in even the smallest amount of water.

I will have 1/2 land and 1/2 land and don't want to lose them. I've read something about putting them in a dish, but how do you keep them from climbing/jumping out?

I lost alot to a very small water dish in a 20L gecko setup and know that this 50/50 will be a challenge.

I use a bowl to feed my frog (although it isnt eating right now), but the height of it is about 1.5-2 inches. The lenght is maybe about 3 inches. It is just a kitchen ceramic container that i picked up. I know people who do use this technique and the frogs eat from it no problem. I use 1/4 crickets and they cant jump out of the dish believe it or not. It is a good way to make sure that there is always food available to the frog, so that they dont drown or bury under your subsrate.

This is another reason I dont like the big water design tanks. Just having a water dish in the tank for easy cleaning. (See my post on your other message) I have never had a problem with insects drowning in water. My animals eat them pretty fast if they get into the water dish they can usually float across and crawl out if they dont get eaten first. They only thing i have a problem with is crickets that crawl into the cracks in the cork bark and hide out.
