House snakes

Is this the right forum? They aren`t really rat snakes. Lots of different shades of different colours. This male has a major preference for live.......They don`t have a chance.

my house snake does hide a lot. Very handleable though, doesn`t try to take off like a corn. sometimes they like to squeeze fingers together.......and not let go!

This is probably the easiest snake to keep and breed of the egg laying species. Mine are very handleable, though the feeding response is fierce. They can breed several times a year. My female often will lay infertile eggs if she is not bred.

To me they are more like a 'miny' python than a rat snake.

Thanks for the info. I have read great feeders and hardy also rather long teeth for their size.
Its one of the snakes I am interested in. Not sure if I prefer albino or the common color. Great looking eyes to. Will probably get one this summer when the babies are available .

Thanks
Luis
