My 3year cb Manouria emys phayrei named bonny is sick with "pasturella Testudinis" which effects her eyes,etc.
The local vet has me injecting her everyday for the next 14 with 23cc of Chloramphenicol Succinate and it is very hard on her and me. She had a reaction to another type of drug, so this was the next best.
Any ideas on this?

I don't understand what your looking for? Your tortoise appears to have a bacterial infection and your vet prescribed an antibiotic. I assume your vet gave you instructions on how to give the injections. Sounds like he or she is saving you a lot of money. Yes it's no fun for you or your tortoise, but it's got to be done.

If you need additional advise if you havent already, try contacting Vic Morgan, he works extensively with this species and if it's a Manouria emys phayrei it probably originated from his stock.
