DOES RED EARED SLIDERS SHADE THEIR SKIN?? I AM VERY NEW AT THIS AND NOTICE LIKE SOME TYPE OF VERY THIN WHITE SKIN CAME OFF FROM THE TURTLE AND NOT FROM THE SHELL.

WHAT OTHER TYPE OF FOOD THAN THE TREAT YOU BUY AT THE STORE CAN BE GIVEN TO THEM, SHE DOES NOT LIKE THE REGULAR TURTLE FOOD.....

I HAVE A 50WATT BULB THAT I PUT ON TWICE A DAY FOR ABOUT AN HOUR SHOULD I PUT IT FOR A LONGER TIME OR LESSER TIME?? I NOTICED IF I PUT IT FOR A LONGER TIME ALGAE START GROWING

NEED SOMEONES HELP ON THIS EVERY ONE I ASK IN THE PETSHOP DO NOT SEEM KNOWING MUCH.

SHE IS HAPPY IN THE TANK, ALWAYS SWIMMING AND TAKING SUNBATH EVERY TIME THE LIGHT IS ON.

Hi ave a look at this site! brief but along the correct line of what you should do,. When i had my turtles they had a white fluffy stuff on there skin due to bad care at the pet shop but found as long as the water is clean i have never had it again
