The females are out there. You just have to find them.
I paid $5 each for 4!
I hope they are..would be interesting to have some of those around here if more people get ahold of breeding males and females.

If the snakes will eat them, what would be wrong with a hybrid rat?

It's not how many snakes you have. It's how happy and healthy you can keep them.
I don't think he was saying there is anything wrong with a hybrid rat, just they are not needed because there are female africans out there for reasonable prices($5.00). You just have to look and get lucky. I bet within a year or so they will be pretty common.

Weve all got enough to worry about with the snakes, we shouldnt have to worry about the food. Thats the bottom line.
