question about genetic markers

imridethelghtng Mar 16, 2006 04:27 PM

i got Kevin McCurleys book awhile back and was reading through it about genetic markers and i knew the complete history of all of my ball pythons except for 1 and she was different looking when i got her but i figured she was just a normal ball python but she is a little lighter color than my other ball pythons and all my other ball pythons have black markings on their bellys but her belly is solid white and has no black markers i have read that clear white belly is a sign of a het for pied my question is do some normal ball pythons have clear white bellies or is that something only found in hets

Yes lots and lots and lots of normal balls have "het pied markers".
