again......

ok........ball.....female.......20 month old and not bred.......heavy pattern/busy/oreo..whatever......don't matter.

looked at cage and I see fat blobs......where do they come from?......and how can this happen.....?

I have gutted,skinned and cleaned enough critters to know what fat blobs look like...clean ,white round little blobs of fat.....they left an oily film on my hand.......they look like the fat blobs from inside snakes that are all along the body.....but outside the intestines and all.......not inside .......there is no way they can pass the fat from either end of them.......?

I have also seen unfertilized ovum of all sizes in chickens ,turtles and even snakes......they are yellow and made of yolk material......and round ....these are not round ......they are odd shaped flatish fat blobs....

little bloodlike stains between them and they are sort of connected yet not.....

anyways......?.....

so what are they???????????

no idea how.......

ever cut open any snake with fat ??????that's what it looks and feels like........no smell actually........I guess it was fresh.........(yes some are so emaciated they have no fat....7 foot taipan was shipped to a friend in 20 degree weather with holes in the box? and died of course......zero fat in it)......

Maybe it was part of a rat that she didn't or couldn't digest? Sometime last year - someone posted something white that came out of their ball (also female) don't think he ever found out what it was - to me it looked like a white junior mint but a little bigger - "firm" I beleive is what he said was the consistancy - but your description doesn't sound like that, yours sounds more blob like????

if they had a more solid juinior mint ..it was probably just a soft uric acid ball

....my ball did it again yesterday and left another 8 or so fat blobs in the same spot.......

.....she hasn't eaten since Febuary 4th.........and all the extra fat mice I have fed and hamsters.......I have never had any fat or undigested parts come out of a ball......they are slow digesters........

Unfortunately, the only "help" I can offer is for you to have a visit with your vet. maybe they can positively identify it and where it came from for you. Personally, I have never heard of anything like that at all. Do you know which end it came out of? i.e. Regurge or poo?

I have no idea which end......

it is impossible to actually have come from either end....
