Two Eastern Kings found in Georgia today

Sean Mar 16, 2006 08:52 PM

First was a female in the blue. Here's Eitan Grunwald standing on the section of tin it was found under.

The King.

Our 2nd King was also a female and in the blue. Found under a single sheet of tin.

Can't wait to see how many more are found in the upcoming weeks!

Nice. Did you get together and lift that whole big piece of connected tins or did you just lift the edges?

Sean Mar 17, 2006 12:42 PM

That huge section is now kind of seperated into three. When I first hit it a couple of years ago, I luckily had several other people with me and we started off at each corner lifting what we could. Over the years, some of the boards have rotted and I've pulled them off making it much lighter. Now I can lift one section myself but it certainly is easier if there's help around.

BTW, this has been a great site over the years. Underneath that one section I've found, two Eastern Kings, Black Racers, a Grey Rat, and numerous Cottonmouth.

Nice goin man....find the things I was telling you about?

Sean Mar 17, 2006 12:44 PM

No, I didn't make it that far yesterday. BTW, how do you think the weather looks for Sunday? Supposed to be a high of 71 and 20% chance of rain here.

Great finds the past few days man, weather looks good for Sunday,Been kinda cool the last couple of nights though. Think todays,& tomorrows highs should have them moving around abit though.

I think I have been to that spot once or twice. Looks really familiar. How about a picture parade of your Ap. Forest Kings. I would love to see what you have and also what the Krysko kings are looking like now that you have had time to fatten them up.

Jason, That site is located behind a person's home. I've gotten to know the guy pretty well now over several years. I'm not sure many other people know about it but it's at a T-intersection if that rings any bells.

Give me some time and I'll post some pics of my Kings. The pair I got from Krysko look pretty much the same the day I got them but I'll post pics of them as well.

What county where you in?? To be honest a lot of the tin sites you post look familiar but it's tin and sections of roof. It all kind of looks the same. This one though seems to ring a bell the way it is laid out and the type of surroundings.
