i dont think u need a pic to imagin this....i use a gladwear or rubbermaid container and cut a hole in the top or the side so she can get in. I then put vermiculite in it that has been dampened by spraying water on it, NOT SOAKED. it is as easy as 1,2,3. keep it moist and warm/humid. i supose put it over the heat pad unless it gets to hot, to hot would be 91 unless you want boys. you dont want to cook them. to cold would be below 81. read up about how the temp of incubation affects the sex of the eggs and life and dealth...okay so that wasnt worded so great but i think you get it.. LOL
oh yeah, your main question. with my girls i have found that it veries. one of my girls layed her last clutch on 2/15 and just stopped eating so i think she is ready to pop any day now. my other girl however layed within a few days also of 2/15 and she will be on her 2nd soon. they are both healthy happy girls so i think its all in the gecko..
just keep watch every day. i check when i wake up and b4 i go to bed.
Sorry I don't have pictures either but I use pretty much the same thing. I use a large glad disposable container with a hole cut in the side so she can go in. Inside I use Forest Bed that is moistened but again not soaked. I think vermiculite is also a good idea. Use a match and burn the edges of the hole you cut so it doesn't have any sharp parts. When they are ready to lay, they usually bury the eggs in the container and the Forest Bed keeps them moist until I take them out. Sometimes they will throw all the Forest Bed out and lay the eggs in the pile. Its easy to tell when they have laid then. One other thing I do differently is keep the egg laying chamber on the cool side of the cage. I think most of my females are ready to lay about a month after they last layed. Some are at 3 weeks and others take 6 weeks.
