Rock python mixed with a ball python

this pic is from a natural occuring mix that supposedly happend in south africa. A friend whos not at all into snakes took this pic while on vacation there.....the body looks like a ROCK but the tail is very distinctly BALL PYTHON, what do you think???

I admit it's odd lookin', but I just don't think that could happen in the wild. In captivity maybe. Particularly in South Africa. I believe Ball Python territory is Western and Central Africa. JMHO
