Hi folks,
After Gus's great "pro-aspen" post and all the positive feedback from people, I'd like to try it.
Here's a question for the heating pros. I have a Stansfield heat mat (18" x24"
running and a CHE. The Stansfield paperwork said don't cover it. Obviously, it's not running at full temp (rheostat) so there's not much heat issue, and I have a temp probe directly on the Stansfield.
Do you see any problems with having aspen on top of the heat mat? Would you put the aspen all around but avoid covering the mat? WHat's the skinny according to the long term keepers and anyone with Stansfield (or comparable) experience.
Thanks in advance.
