What to feed new baby savs?

Crizzi27 Mar 17, 2006 08:11 PM

We purchased two new babies today. They are said to be capitve born but who really knows. They each are 6 inches. Our other two big ones were large enough to eat mice when we obtained them. So I was just wondering what else besides crickets I should feed them. Below is a picture of them. Both look to be healthy and have lots of energy. Thank you in advance.

pinky should be fine, but if you want something else try roaches, crushed boiled eggs with shell, landsnails, ...be imaginative

"It has begun", the import season of mass amounts of bosc monitors has started this year.
Those are WC, they sell to the suppliers at shows for $1 each, sometimes less, though Id let you know.
Feed crickets, pinkies, roaches, and day old quail, as suggested by someone else only as they get bigger use your imagination, so does the food, the same basic foods only larger. Although when larger you can use chicken peeps (inexpensive, and easy to get).
