Literature search help

I would really like to find a book on reptiles and amphibians of the southern Mexico and Guatamala area. If there is anything published on snakes specifically this would be great but I highly doubt it. I would also like to get as geographically specific as possible (as in southern states like Chiapas and/or Campeche). Anything about surrounding areas like Guatamala or Belize would be appreciated but I am really hoping for Mexico.

Any help is appreciated

Thanks

(this is not for any specific reason other than it being an area I like and would like to read up more on the wildlife to possibly plan a trip)

Well my plan to travel along the coast of Baja California Norte down the west coast of the Sea of Cortez did not work out (people, hospitals, insurance, yada yada) . I ended up teaching elementary and high school classes about snakes. It was a good time but Chiapas would be more fun.

In all fairness too...my south Baja trip was kind of a bust because my money was taken on the biggest hike planned in the best area.

A trip is not going to be planned in the next month or anything because I need save up a bit of "lana." SO if it is something you might be interested...you would be welcome to come along if I can make it happen.

But first I need a book

You might try Larry Kenton at Mdreptilefarm.com He has pretty much every book available. If it's been written, he has it.

I did not check if he had the book "in stock" but I will give a call before trying to order from anywhere else. He had quite a literature list there.

If it's on his list, he probably has it. lol...he lives 10 mins from me.
