I have heard a few bad and good things about heat rope. Some say its not very safe, some say its safer than heat tape. Also, below is a thread where someone pointed out that some sections of the rope is extremely hot and some sections are hardly warm. Has anyone just laid it straight out and taken the temp up and down the entire rope? What are your thoughts on it? Thanks.
