WEIRD COLORFUL WHAT KIND OF BALL IS THIS

SGR Mar 18, 2006 08:15 AM

I have had this guy since he was 300 gms, he gets more color as he gets bigger. He is now 700 gms. and breeding several females. Anyone know what he is. Got a better pic on my website. I took the pic with a normal looking ball for comparison. Thanks for looking.

Very pretty ball python with lots of very bold yellow coloring. Definatly worth working with to see if it's reproducable. I'm not sure he fits into any current proven morph catagory. Maybe he can start his own?

Brian Barczyk has something that looks similar to that that he calls lemons. I know in Daytona he had a lemon spider...I can't remember if he had a normal lemon there or not...but the color looked alot like that snake. Breed it out and see what you get...you may be suprised!

I didn't mean Vin's Lemons....to me it doesn't look like Vin's. Here are two pics of the spider lemon that Brian had in Daytona that I was talking about.....Of course the color is a little different because of the spider influence...but thats what it resembled to me the most....

Not sure the story behind him but Ive had him a few months now. The pics dont really capture the snake well. One of the big breeders I had sent a pic to told me dont breed it, its not genetic. When he saw it in person he said "O no, this isnt what I thought it was at all.... breed it!"

Anyway, keep us posted. Im hoping for a nice simple recessive!!
