as long as both are north american species and there is not a considerable size difference b/t the two. if the leapord is larger than the bull, no problem, but if the bull gets to be more than 2" larger than the leapord you should seperate or risk waking up to only having a bullfrog in the tank. both species are highly active and highly competive for food, they also will gorge themselves on food if given the chance and become obese. there should not be a problem as long as these criteria are met. keep a close eye on how much food each one eats (hand feed if possible), feed variety (earthworms, crickets, grasshoppers, mealworms, mice if large enough, feeder fish, etc.) and make sure you have a filter in the water or change it daily and you have a secure screen. I've had an adult bullfrog knock a 55 gallon screen cover off a tank.
hope this answers your question and then some.

Sweet!!! My tadpole's tail is almost gone so it going to be a little while before i get a leopard frog... do you have any deas on how i should create an aquatic and land enclosure for them?? i have filters and that stuff i just dont know how to go about putting it together...Should i caulk a peice of plexi glass to the bottom and the sides to seperate the land from water.. and what should i use for a substrate on the land side??? soil and live plants?? also since my frog is going to be lil after the tail is gone what should i feed him (small fish)??
Thanks Bunches,
Katie

This pic is from yesterday and the tail is a lot smaller now! isnt he cute?!?! lol

i find that creating a semi-aquatic tank with a plexi-glass divider is the easiest way. (some pics of my firebelly tank that would work well for a bullfrog/leapord frog tank) on the land side i would use a soil (bea a beast, forest bed, untreated potting/top soil, jungle mix, etc.) and live plants. i cover the soil with moss after i have potted the plants to help keep the frogs out of the soil which helps to keep the water cleaner, this will be espically important to consider with your frogs. you will also want to provide a hiding area for your frogs, such as a hide log or large foliage plants on land and rock caves or driftwood in the water. as for feeding a froglet, small crickets, small earthworms/red worms, and small rosie red feeder fish are generally a good choice. since you have a water area with filters and your bull will probaly spend a lot of time there you should be able to let some rosie reds free into the water and the bull may get them on its own.

these are the pics of my firebelly tank mentioned in the previous post. it is a 29 gal. long tank approx. 1/3 land :2/3 water and houses 5 korean firebelly toads, 1 european firebelly toad, and 2 fire belly newt species.
this style setup will work well for your bull/leapord frog tank.
