Here's one of my Three toed box turtle hatchlings. This is by far the most aggressive hatchling that I've ever had. It is so strong that I have to be careful when I pick it up. It tries so hard to push my fingers apart that I'm afraid I'll crush it if I squeeze hard enough to keep it from falling. If I hold it in my palm and cover it with the other...it bites me

One thing I've noticed; Three toed hatchlings are the only hatchlings that I've personally had that regularly consume greens from first feeding. I'm talking about kale, mustard, collard, and turnip greens. They don't just nibble either, they devour. I offer greens several times a week to all of my hatchlings regardless of whether or not they eat them. The Three toeds almost always do. As a result (I theorize), their shells become much harder much quicker than my other hatchlings. I dust insects once weekly for all hatchlings with a calcium/other mineral/vitamin powder. The Three toeds shells become harder in several months than others do in a year.

I'm also looking for a couple more triunguis youngsters. I've noticed that one person in particular was offering them for adoption. I'm very interested in yearlings or younger. I can email pics of my habitats and such on demand.
