the vet came over this afternoon, he is a friend of my parents so he stopped by. anyway, he is not an exotics vet but has learned some things over the years. i have baytril for her but he didn't notice any congestion but since i said she was acting weird, he gave it to me as a precaution

she has been out a bit today and yesterday i saw her eat one cricket but today she ignored them. hopefully she will perk back up in a couple days

I think the Baytril was a good idea. I have given it to lizards in the past when I wasn't sure what was wrong, and I've had them respond quickly and dramatically. It is very good idea to keep it around the house. I sure hope they snap out of it soon.

By the way, I don't "forcefeed" my lizards either, but I have tube fed very sick or anorexic lizards many times in the past. It is an excellent way to get a lot of calories in them quickly, especially when they won't eat much on their own. Tube feeding is not nearly as traumatic as trying to shove live insects down their throats, and it is very effective in putting weight back on in a hurry. If she gets any worse, Id recommend giving it a try.

when i offer her baby food she does take it from me, she definitely isn't so weak that i need to tube feed her and gosh i hope it doesn't come to that!

That's great that she's eating baby food on her own. My fingers are crossed for you guys.
