darn i got so emotional about the cali king at work, i forgot to ask is it legal to catch and own a california king snake in califonrnia?

somebody correct me if I'm wrong but your can go herping if you have a valid CA fishing liscense and also allowed to keep a certain number as well.. I beleive the issue is when and if you try and sell them... you need a special permit number in order to sell native species
