I used potting soil and peat moss. I'm also using plastic wash tubs for a water bowl and one is inverted with a large hole cut into it for the hide.

Fluffy is kind of funny b/c he ends up pushing lots of substrate (whatever it is), climbs in, and then pushes it out to shut essentially shut the door.
