clear belly????

so i see people posting blah blah blah and he/she has a clear belly...what exactly is the deal with the clear belly? all of mine have clear bellies and ive only seen (in person) 1 or 2 that dont. can anyone help me to understand this?

That picture only shows the big middle belly scale clear of dark marks. A lot of the morphs move the black out even further, in some cases clearing out all three belly scales. Of course it may not mean anything in an unproven animal but if it's a female you might pick the clear bellies over the non-clear belly "normals" just in case.

I dont know if an albino belly is a good example so i took a pic of one of my pastels bellies also

I have a Pastel too so i got it now! Thank you! i just wanted to make sure i wasnt missing anything because ive seen ads posted for normal females with clear bellies that looked no different then the pic i posted. then there is the pastel clear. so that you i believe i got it

so when people refer to a clear belly, they are actually referring to the whiteness of the middle 3 rows of belly scales? i thought they were referring to some degree of transparency, so i have been trying to distinguish from white and "clear" on pictures....you guys are saying that the term clear belly basically refers to the fact that the middle 3 rows of belly scales are all white, right?

this whole thing is kind of new to me, i normally keep tarantuals, lizards and amphibians and am just getting into bp's...are there any good sites that list the genetic markers with pics or anything (i know they aren't guarantees, but the genetics are definitely a big part of my interest in them). thanks
