Hello,

I´ve some questions about the genetic.
When I´ll bred a flame to a nominat sirtalis and back, what´ll happen? Is the flame gen dominant?
flame*sirtalis nom. in F1 generation have more red than normal.

The genetic at the Pant. guttatus complex is even more "clear".

What´ll happen if I bred a florida-blue to nominat and back.

Are there other examples you know...

thx "stupid" german guy

If you breed a flame to a normal, you will get all flames.

If you breed a blue to a normal, you will get normals, the blue easterns are not a color morph...

Yes, that is the theory.
But i got some 05 hatchlings from a flame x normal breeding, and there are definiatly no real flames.
Or are juvenil flames not that red as adults?
here is a pic. The snake is around 10 inches.

That definitely looks like a developing flame.
