"Bring me the head of sharktooth Garcia"

vichris Mar 19, 2006 08:30 AM

LOL, Just a play on words on an old movie title.

I took these pics last night right after he shed and they came out nice so I thought I would share.

What do you think?

Chris:

He's one of a kind. Excellent pics. You need a story line ("The Legend of Sharktooth" and theme music as well (something from a Clint Eastwood spaghetti western, perhaps). Hope he "performs" well this spring!

Cheers,

Bob

Thanks Bob,

It sounds like you remember the movie I was refering to. I'm not really sure it was a spaghetti western but you're on the right track. LOL

I'm hoping he shows some interest in "performing" this year also. I've got three females that are all just about ready for their first shed.

Thanks Bob

that snake is beautiful, i am taking my male out tonight also, i figuered that closet is getting warmer and warmer, so if i get the male out and feeding sooner, then i can keep the female in alittle bit longer. the male is going to be moved into the bed room instead of the reptile room because my small female Evelyn just shed so i dont know if her sent will make him wanna breed instead of feed, she will be good to go next year so i dont wanna trip his instincts.

Adam,

Most of the time my males eat one or 2 meals before they quit feeding in the spring. I've had some males that wont feed at all after I bring them out. It won't hurt them though.

It would probably be better to bring your females out first. You need to get them feeding and with good body weight before they become gravid. Its much more essential that the males go through a good cooling period so that their sperm is viable. Keep us posted on their progress.

Chris, he's an absolute beauty. I love interesting head patterns like that.

Thanks Steve,

I like that "Batman" pattern on the head of that yellow one you got from Tim too. That's one heck of a good start one your collection. Good luck,............. trying to control your addiction. LOL

Thanks Mike,

Thats exactly the same things I like too. He's almost got this Egyption look to him with those black lines under and behind his eyes and then those strips near his mouth. I'm hoping he's just half the Stud that he looks like. LOL
