I am concerned..............

I fed my female RTB 3 large frozen f/t rats last week & she still hasnt had a bowel movement. Is there such a thing as a constipated snake? IF she is, what can be done to help her?? ANY info will be helpful!!! I dont want her to become ill or die from this.

I wouldnt get worried just yet. 3 large rats is a large meal. it will take longer to digest. There is such a thing as a constipated snake. If that is the cas a good soaking will usually do the trick. Sometimes a vet appt will be necessary for an enema. But 1 week is not very long after a big meal like that.

As was stated, one week is not too long to go without pooing. No need to worry yet.
