Is it possible in a very large tank? Being that oen is active during the day and the other at night? Any suggestions?

i personally have never kept these two together, but i have a grandis and am planning to put either a crestie or a leaf tail, i think that would be fine, especially because their requirements are so similar.
If that's your cage then yes, for sure. You'd have enough room for a trio of each species.
The leaf-tails I hear are rather finicky, and would melt at some of the temps that the phelsuma enjoy.

If I were you I would read up on both species a bit more. Take all of the differences of each species and see if you can still meet them all.
Personally, I don't see why everyone is so enticed to keep different species with different care requirements in the same enclosure.
The more animals you have, the more naturalistic displays you can get, and the more animals you can keep in a given enclosure. I would absolutely not keep any Uroplatus with cresteds or phelsuma.
