You see where phiber_optikx was going,,,,, AND to follow up….

1. Do you live in a humid part of the country (e.g. Florida, Houston, Louisiana, etc.)
2. Do you keep the animal in a area such as a Florida room or garage?
3. Do you have a humid hide (sphagnum, etc.)?

Also, if you don’t resolve this here, since many experienced herpers often quietly do a little quacking out of cost survival, try posting on “Herp Health & Breeding” forum.

Could be the first stage of blister disease. Soak in Nolvasan (sp.?) or dilute betadine solution once a day and apply poysporin once a day. Couldn't hurt...

Better yet, go to a vet and they will probably give you anti-biotics to inject every day (Pipercilin or Cetrzil (sp.?))

he was kept on news paper. when ever i provided a humid hid he wouldnt go in it so i just kept the tank at the required temps. i live in philly PA. he has always had perfect sheds and what not. i dont have a snake room (i live in a studio) so all my animals are in sight and i check on them ALL the time. there was NO signs or anytihng. i went to sleep and he was fine....came home from work and there it was. i called my vet and tried to get in. im not sure if an exotic vet was on staff but i was told to soak once a day and apply a triple antibiotic then call if it gets worse. so far it doesnt seem to be getting worse. the little guy is also in shed "blue eyes". im ordering more nolvasan but im soaking him in distilled water once a day and putting the ointment on twice a day.
