AAAAAH, I love it! That's one fat b@st@rd! My son is coming back from a trip to Richmond and he said he saw a king that crawled under a log. He flipped it and one of THOSE bad boys was next to the king! Needless to say, no king! Smart kid, that one. I guess he figures to keep all his digits intact, lol!

Smart kid is right!! I didnt find that one a fellow forum member did I just happen to be with him. And you are right that one was FAT and heavy. It was unreal how heavy it was but it wasnt the biggest that day. A female we found was bigger and heavier but I dont have any GOOD pics of that one. Heres another shot of that one.

How big is that third CalKing? How big is the rat that you are feeding him?

Thanks,

It's not how many snakes you have. It's how happy and healthy you can keep them.

TobyEKing Mar 19, 2006 03:43 PM

She is right at 4 ft. it is just a small rat the picture makes it look bigger. But she eats two or three each time which is about every 5-7 days. Glad I have a buddy that raises rats.....LOL

I think to most people outside the snake world think we are all nuts! LOL! People I work with don't understand!! Their loss, but I do still like dogs and some cats, too. I'm getting ready to get a chessie this summer. I hope to train it to snake hunt with me and my kids. Dogs hunt snakes in Guam, so it must be possible. Derek
