Found this girl in a Los Angeles pet store.

A year ago, I bought this female. She was about 1000 grams and was a strong feeder. I bred her with my het pied and she just gave me 5 eggs!

I paid $100 for this girl as a small adult in 2001. She has been huge for years but still no eggs yet.

The one on the left is one of my favorites now. I picked her out of a bunch of ch at another Denver pet store in 2004. She has a wide white belly. She has always eaten well, I just need to get her more feeders to hopefully get her up to breeding size soon.

Here is her belly.

Forgot for a min, that light ch from the last two posts is one I found in Greeley and had to pay a bit more for. The ~$20 something one from Denver is this one.

Here is a girl I picked up cheap (like $50 think) at 1,300 grams in the same Greeley, CO pet store because she was so mean. I know it isn’t terribly likely she is a pet store het pied but there should be a lot of ch hets brought in every year and I couldn’t resist giving her a try at that price. I do feel guilty about breeding such a poor tempered animal. She produced two ringer bellied (but no pieds) bred to a ringer bellied 50% chance het pied. I kept the daughter who got her mother’s temperament but she eventually outgrew demonstrating it. The pet store mom has been out on a breeding loan and took last year off but is with a ringer bellied 100% het pied male this year. Hopefully she’ll produce a big enough clutch to put it to the test.

a ball python and a Burmese python in a pet store and they're still kickin'. Does that count? I reckon that's cool enough for me, anyway.

Considering how many did not make it the first year back then, it is VERY cool. Good work. Craig

I got all these at the same pet store at different times...
Here is the first, her belly has yellow w/granite markings, and alot of fading, abberant neck pattern, faded spot on her head and some nice flames...(w/normal for comparison)

Same snake belt pick from last year...

Head shot from last year, same snake...

Here is a nice little black back with a WHITE belt, and some nice reduced pattern, and abberant neck pattern...

Picked this girl up a couple months ago,$50, already topping 1300g...she's up to over 1600 now, and I'm thinking she'll be laying a couple eggs for me soon. Here she is w/ the poss het clown that i'm hoping successfully mated her:

And I know it's not a ball python, but last week at the same pet store I picked up this 2-3 yr old female Pastel/peruvian boa for $200!
