yes, you can put them in the same tank, it is the same thing as a whites treefrog, just blue. so they are from australia, i got mine from a reptile shop, they don't ship, but if you want their number contact me. they have about 20 CB high blue dumpies. i have one from there and i also have a regular dumpy from there, they are very healthy.

I got the blue dumpys in New York, pretty far away and I am pretty sure they don't ship, I will ask him the next time I go there, just assumed they don't. All the ones they have are 40.00. They have a bunch of other stuff too, like 20 snakes...it is called Captive Life Forms. In Rochester I think. good luck!
200 snakes, not 20, woops
yeah newyork is pretty far im going to look around here and see what i can find
I heard you have to be careful about blue White's! The coloration may be due to lack of batacaratine, the substance that gives the animals the colors that it needs to survive. This can result in anemic frogs. Try feeding your crickets food that contain this substance like dog food and fish flakes, or sprinkle some human multivitamins on the vegies. (On a side note, I think veggies are kindda low on nutritional values comapre to other food.) And take the frog to see your herps' vets. If there is nothing wrong with him, then he's probably, as you suggested, from Australia; then you have nothing to worry about.
this may be true for a very small percent, but for most whites if they are stressed they turn almost a purpilish brown. I am not taking my frog to the vet for 1) there is nothing wrong with him 2) he eats 10 crix every day every other day w/calcium/vitiman/mineral 3)i got him from a guy who doesn't sell sick animals. i know how to take care of my pets thank you.
I'm sorry, 10 crickets every day???? you don't need to feed a white's everyday! every second or third day is more than fine, since they can and will eat anything that is plopped in front of them! as for dusting every other day, you don't need to do that more than once a week, there is an illness that is related to over feeding the frog dusted crickets! You really should do a little more research before you say things like that.

I think my frog owns a megaphone....
as for feeding every day, he looks brown if i don't and he's less then 2 months old and it is important to dust often for babies. this is a pico of the baby w/ 10 crix a day and my adult whites that i did the same thing to and you tell me if they look healthy.

Unfortunately if you say anything on a forum, you get advice, unqualified and otherwise, whether you want it or not.
And now, a photo of my grotesquely obese dumpy frog!!!
and you get spam...
lol, he's cute-and fat. how old is yours?
I don't know his age. Bought him from a petshop.
He was always chunky. That photo's from 2004. I've cut back on his food intake but he seems to be a naturally round guy.
Here's a more recent photo - I've already posted this one a lot.
whatever his age, he's adorable, and enormous lookin
i like fat things, they are cute.
Super cute frogs by the way =)
thank you, how can you say no to "one more cricket" when they are so cute!

I'm sorry! I didn't mean to insult you! I'm just giving advice just incase! If that seems like an insult to you, I'm sorry again!
