Hi, I just got my ig able to roam around the house, but is there any training tips to make her stop scratching me or pooping in her soaking tub? Also, I don't want her to poop on me either, although it's NEVER happened. Thanks.

Unfortunately for your situations, iguanas have a tendency to go to the bathroom when they are soaking in a tub. I don't know if this will help you, but you might as well give it a try. If you have time, watch your iguana while it is in the tub. As soon as you see it starts to go to the bathroom, pick it up and put it where you want it to go to the bathroom. Iguanas work very well with consisten repition. So, if you do this for long enough, it just might work. As far as pooping on you, I have had my iguana for a year now, and he has NEVER pooped on me. I really haven't heard about iguanas doing that. And also about the scratching, there are two things you can do: 1 - Keep your iguana's claws trimmed or 2 - wear long sleaves or take a long sock and cut off the end and wear it from your rist up. I tried that for a while and it worked pretty well, but you might as well just learn to live with it, because if you're gonna have your iguana for ten years, you're going to get scratched, bit, and tail whipped occasionally if not often. Best of luck with everything.
