PetCo. and PetsMart sell them.
The brand name is Exo Terra, look it up.
I don't suggest using them unless you're displaying a gecko to sell.

At present I use one for my Calabar Ground Python. Why would it not work with geckos?
Quig
Actually let me correct myself, they do work.
Just depeds on if it works good for your cage, i just quit using cages and switched to racks.
Understood. I'm using aquariums yet.

PLEASE use extreme caution with them, your leos legs can get squashed in them. I witnessed this first hand at petsmart. A poor leo's leg was completely smashed up against the side and he was just sutck there, I ran and told a manager and he just grunted that it happened before and he would take it out this time. Luckily he did but I wouldn't trust them completely. I know you would obviously be more careful then the hundreds of people who are lifting it off daily at a store, but just know that it can happen.
Thanks for the heads up, it's appreciated. The thought had crossd my mind though.

I have one myself. They are pretty neat to show off when friends come over, everyone seems to be fascinated by these caves, but I don’t blame them, they are after all a pretty cool idea.
The leg crushing issue will not occur if you are gentle and very careful. However I can see how easy it is to crush a few legs, so my best advice is that you don’t let other people take the cover off let alone put it back on.
There is one thing I dislike about this product and it’s the fact that if you every try to bring your leo out when hes in there its gonna be a pain in the butt!
But besides that it’s a really cool item to have in your cage when using it carefully, especially if you have more than 1 gecko… opening it and seeing 3 geckos sleeping in there looks really neat.

The possibility of breaking little legs is certainly a concern. With my Calabar, who of course has no legs
, I use enough substrate to wedge the cave tight to the glass so the likely hood of bodily damage would be almost nil. I don't remove critters from their hides so that wouldn't be a factor either. I play with them when they come out to play, which is usually after dark
. Thanks all, for the advice.

ya that is exactly what i use to do when i still had substrate other then paper towels. the geckos LOVED them and so did i. i could look at them with out totally disturbing them besides the dark/light issue of course, but i could check on them and know that they were ok with out lifting up their entire hide. im not sure if your original question was where do you get them or who makes them, but i think the brand is exo terra. i bought mine at any herp stores that had them and i bought one from petsmart for like $9 on clearrance and the ones at petco where like $30 or sumthin way high.
