cleaning bearded dragons......

my female beardie is getting stinky and is about to shed so im gonna wash her skin which will 1.make her more attractive to guests when the hold her 2.it will assist in her shed if i scrub her with a tooth brush but the is a dilenma..i need to know what soap is safe for her skin?

you really dont need to use soap, just warm water and softly rubbing her with a soft toothbrush should do, only reason to use soap is if something gets on them that sticks to them such as glue or other things that are harmful to them such as chemicals and things. There are special "bathing" products you can buy at the petstore if you are so inclined, might want to check your local pethell aka petco or petsmart...

If you do want to use soap, any unscented mild soap will do, just put a very small amount on the toothbrush. I use ivory soap when I do use soap...typicallly when I notice my dragon has tracked through his poo before I had a chance to clean it up.
